The Importance of Trust Values
CEO Thought for the Week
Hi Everyone
I hope you’ve had a great start to Term 2!
I’m thrilled to be able to share some exciting news which you may have already spotted on social media. Infinity Academies Trust has been recognised as one of the top ten Trusts nationally regarding the Trust Values Award organised by Edurio (our staff survey provider). As you know each year, we complete our staff survey organised and managed by Edurio. The questions we complete are standardised to enable us to benchmark against other Trusts and schools and cover a wide range of areas. One of these areas is around Trust values which includes how beneficial staff feel being part of the Trust is, the clarity of our vision and the communication across the Trust. The survey was completed by nearly 70,000 people nationally and our Trust was in the top ten Trusts based on your responses in this crucial area.
To say I’m delighted is an understatement and I am so grateful to each and every one of you for your commitment and determination to make being part of Infinity Academies Trust a positive experience for colleagues, pupils and families. As I said at the conference at the start of the year, the culture of our classrooms, schools and Trust is ours to make and we’re doing that every day through our positive interactions and relationships. This award is evidence of that. When I meet with colleagues, I often say the thing I am most proud of is not the formal opportunities provided by the Trust but the links and connections that have been built by you between each other and your schools informally. The sharing of ideas, resources and support both formally and informally is what enables our Trust to thrive and go from strength to strength.
Here’s a message from Edurio CEO, Ernest Jenavs celebrating our achievement:
“The trusts recognised this year have excelled in creating environments where staff feel confident in the value of being part of the trust. This achievement highlights the importance of a supportive community where staff feel appreciated and aligned with the trust’s mission. Congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment!"
Thank you as always for everything you do and for making Infinity Academies Trust the very special place it is!
Have a great rest of the week.
Best Wishes
Gavin
