Managing Workload- Trust Recent Actions
Each year Infinity Academies Trust actively looks for ways in which it can support colleagues with managing their workload through the streamlining of systems and processes, the removal of unnecessary bureaucracy and avoiding replication.
Below are a few of the recent strategies that have been implemented:
- Reduction in the number of pupil data collection points
- A review of our marking and feedback policies
- Introduction of Trust-wide Compliance and Policy management
- Central management of shared contracts/services
- Central management of complaints, grievances and exclusions
Employee Assistance Programme- Overview
All Infinity Academies Trust staff have access to the Employee Assistance Programme delivered by Education Support, a resource that can help manage and navigate personal and professional pressures, helping to achieve a successful work-life balance.
This service is available to all staff 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It includes access to:
Face-to-Face and/or Telephone Counselling - up to six face-to-face or telephonic counselling sessions (if clinically appropriate to the caller’s need) for all employees, including managers
Financial guidance on a wide variety of financial matters including, but not limited to, mortgage, pension and taxation matters
Money Management – access to money management specialists who can provide assistance with budgeting, debts and recommendations on options available including where necessary contacting creditors on behalf of eligible to negotiate repayment plans
Legal information from qualified and experienced staff, providing guidance on all personal legal issues including matrimony, divorce, consumer rights, probate, wills, property and tenancy issues
Information, Signposting and Support on Worklife Issues. Including but not limited to eldercare, childcare, disability care, consumer rights, tenancy matters, daily living, state benefits and entitlement
Manager Assist – support for managers on any employee-related issue, such as people management and performance, change management, personal development and difficult conversations.
