Achieving Great Things Together!
CEO Thought for the Week
Happy Wednesday everyone!
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my appreciation for the incredible dedication and hard work each of you brings to our Trust. Your commitment to our children, families and each other is truly inspiring, and it is important to remember that when one person or one school succeeds, it reflects positively on all of us. Most of our work goes unnoticed but occasionally we get a moment either as an individual, school or as the Trust to be centre stage.
Today, I am thrilled to share that St Nicholas CE Primary Academy has been featured on the national BBC news. You may have seen them on BBC Breakfast this morning, caught their story on the radio or on the BBC website here: Nearly half of schools give families financial help, teachers say - BBC News. This recognition is a testament to the outstanding efforts of the entire team at St Nicholas and serves as a shining example of what we can achieve together. I know that what St Nicholas has shared nationally today is reflected in many of our schools. A consistent, deliberate, and intentional effort every single day to meet the increasingly complex needs of our children and our communities. This BBC piece has really shone a light on what schools like ours are dealing with and providing to enable our children to flourish despite the odds.
It is crucial that we continue to publicly celebrate and encourage each other. No-one else is going to blow our trumpets and we need to be each other’s champion if we are to become the “Infinity Family” that we claim to be. Let us make sure that everyone knows how proud we are of each other's achievements. Let us take the time to give a colleague a shout-out, point the spotlight at something amazing and ensure that when something is good, we say so… both to the people involved but also to the wider public regardless of which school it happens to be in. There is so much fantastic stuff happening across Infinity that we should be singing from the rooftops every day. There is no competition within our Trust; instead, we are united by a relentless effort to see everyone thrive. By supporting one another, we create an environment where success is shared and celebrated by all.
Thank you for your unwavering dedication and for being such an integral part of our Trust. Together, we will continue to achieve great things.
Have a great end to the week!
Best Wishes
Gavin
