CEO Thought for the Week
Hey Everyone,
Hope you are enjoying the build up to Christmas and I know this end of the Autumn term is always super busy in schools so thank you for all the extras you’re doing to make Christmas in school a special time.
As we move towards the end of the term, I want to reflect on our final Trust value: LOVE. In Infinity, love is not a soft extra—it is a daily act of service. It’s the care we show our pupils, the compassion we extend to one another, and the belief we hold that every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported. But love is also courageous. Sometimes it means making difficult decisions in the best interests of others—upholding high standards, challenging where needed, and refusing to lower our expectations for any child. Love is shown not only in kindness but also in holding firm to what we know is right, because our pupils deserve nothing less.
In our schools, love shows up in the small interactions: the reassurance offered to a worried pupil, the patience shown in a difficult moment, the kindness we show each other on busy days. These moments build belonging, shape character, and create the safe, nurturing environments where children can truly flourish.
Thank you for bringing this value to life so consistently. The love you show in your work changes children’s lives, and it defines who we are as a Trust.
Best Wishes
Gavin
