Spilsby Primary Academy celebrates SuperKind Award success
Children at Spilsby Primary Academy, part of Infinity Academies Trust, have been recognised for their kindness, teamwork and care for others after the school achieved the SuperKind Social Impact Schools Award.
The award celebrates schools that give children opportunities to support causes they care about, help their communities and learn that their actions, however small, can make a real difference.
At Spilsby Primary Academy, pupils have embraced a range of opportunities throughout the year to help others, raise awareness and support good causes. These efforts reflect the school’s values of Honesty, Love, Curiosity, Hope and Unity, while encouraging children to look beyond the classroom and think about the part they can play in the wider world.
Matthew Nicholson, Headteacher at Spilsby Primary Academy, said: “I am incredibly proud of our pupils. This recognition reflects the kindness, teamwork and pride they show every day.
"It is a wonderful example of our school values in action, and it shows our children that they are never too young to make a positive difference to others.”
The award reflects the efforts of the whole school community, with pupils, staff, families and friends of the school all getting behind projects and causes that matter to the children.
