CEO Thought for the Week

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year — and welcome back! I hope you managed to rest, recharge, and spend time with the people who matter most.

As we step into the year ahead, I’d love us to hold onto a simple mantra: progress, not perfection. Many of you will know I’ve been peddling this approach forever! We won’t get everything right first time (none of us do!) — but by learning, adapting, supporting one another, and taking steady steps forward, we continue to make a real difference for our children, families, and communities. The key to our continued success is our ability to iterate and improve on what we do every single day. To do that, we need to be honest in our reflection, transparent in our communication and determined to make small adjustments to keep getting better at what we all do.

Last year brought so many successes across our Trust, and that’s entirely down to your hard work, kindness, and commitment. This year is going to be an exciting one — full of opportunities to build on that success, keep improving what we do, and achieve even more together.
